We're launching a Claude Code course
The course I wish I'd been able to take in January
Good morning
In January I started spending 3 hours a day, 7 days a week, with Claude Code. No agenda beyond seeing what I could do with it.
By March, that experiment had pulled me far enough in that I made the call: Ballpoint pivots to AI-native. I wrote about what this meant at the time. But in short it’s: you don’t do tasks with AI’s assistance, you get AI to do the task for you.
Since then the team has been training, breaking things, and shipping. We’re currently launching about 2-3 new things every week. Some are simple Skills, others are Skills with code infused throughout, others are total reworks of internal org structures, and we’re building software too.
A handful of founders, CMOs and growth heads have been reading along on here and on LinkedIn and asked, more times than I can count, whether we run training.
What we’re launching
A Claude Code course for people who aren’t software engineers and haven’t used Claude Code yet.
It’s for you if:
You’re using AI to help you do work, rather than getting the AI to do the work for you.
You’ve never opened Claude Code, or you’ve opened it and bounced.
You’re not a software engineer or part of a technical team.
You’re sitting on the sense that there’s a real productivity unlock here, but you don’t know where to start.
What you’ll come out with:
The fundamentals of how to actually run Claude Code for your work.
A learning environment with a group of peers where it’s safe to make mistakes.
A structured way to build skills and agents that compound over time.
Enough computer science along the way to understand what you’re doing rather than copying patterns.
Two formats
We’re testing two formats and the right one for you depends on how you learn.
One-day intensive. Get most of the way there in a single day. Best if you’ve already played with the tools a bit and want a sharp acceleration.
Eight-week programme. Slower, deeper, with weekly sessions and the time to build something real that matters to your work. Best if you want this to stick, not be a thing you tried.
